LIVINGSHORELINE TREASURES

A living shoreline is a resilient, stabilized, coastal edge made of natural materials. Living shorelines provide wildlife habitat and adapt and change over time, unlike hardened shoreline structures like bulkheads.

Living shorelines act as natural barriers to waves. 15 feet of marsh can absorb 50% of incoming wave energy.
